Hello Friend II

This painting is from my 'Summer of Bees' Series. This happy little bee visited my garden every morning when I watered, and he seemed so friendly. He would land on the freshly watered dirt under the flowers and have a little sip of water, buzz about while I watered the rest of the bed, and return for another sip. I always thought about how interesting it was that he popped by every day, and probably thought of us as neighbors, and how the plants and animals around us live here just as much as we do.
